Who we are
Circuit ("we", "us") is a WhatsApp networking agent operated by an independent developer based in India. The service helps people get warm, double-opt-in introductions to other people in Circuit's network. The service is accessible at www.oyecircuit.com and on WhatsApp at +91 87967 06622.
What data we collect
From people who message Circuit on WhatsApp, we collect:
- The phone number WhatsApp shares with us when you message.
- The content of messages you send to Circuit (used to build your networking profile: your role, location, what you're working on, who you're looking to meet).
- Optional information you choose to share: name, email address, Instagram handle, LinkedIn URL.
From public posts on social platforms (Bluesky, Threads), Circuit reads publicly visible post text, the author's public username, and the public post URL — only to evaluate whether the post indicates someone looking to connect with another person. We do not collect private messages, follower lists, contact information, or any data that isn't already public on those platforms.
How we use data
- To match you with relevant people in Circuit's network when you ask for an introduction.
- To send a public reply (with your account's permission, only on your own account) to public social posts where someone appears to be looking for a connection — inviting them to start a conversation with Circuit.
- To improve Circuit's matching quality over time by learning which public posts and matches are good fits.
How we share data
Circuit never shares your contact information (phone number, email) with anyone without your explicit, per-introduction consent. When Circuit proposes an introduction, both you and the other person must independently agree before any contact details are exchanged via an introduction email.
We use the following third-party processors:
- Meta (WhatsApp Cloud API) — to send and receive messages on WhatsApp.
- Meta (Threads API) — to read public posts and post public replies on the Threads account associated with Circuit.
- Bluesky (AT Protocol) — same as above for Bluesky.
- Anthropic (Claude) — to power the natural-language parts of Circuit. Anthropic processes message content per its own policies; we do not allow training on user data.
- Resend — to deliver introduction emails between consenting parties.
- Railway (Postgres) and Vercel (hosting) — infrastructure providers.
How long we keep data
Profile data is retained while your profile is active. If you opt out (reply STOP on WhatsApp or email reyansh.claude@gmail.com), your profile is soft-deleted within 24 hours and your contact information is removed. Anonymous aggregate records may be retained for product analytics. Public posts harvested for outreach are retained for dedup and quality-learning purposes.
Your rights
You can at any time:
- Request a copy of the data we hold on you.
- Request deletion of your data — see our Data Deletion page for the exact steps.
- Stop receiving messages from Circuit by replying STOP.
